I see we've been busy little Pwnies the last couple of days.  I apologize for no post yesterday .. I was in Vancouver visitng my sister in law and blogging was taking a back seat to taking pictures of my very cute and very shy neice.  

We've had a batch of level ups and some from people I thought were not playing any longer, other than to log in for battles.  Let's hope they keep on a hot streak!

Two 3D animations about Poland

Hi all :)
Here is your clannie from Poland ;) This post won't be related to Shakes & Fidget. I would like to share with you 2 great CG animations about Poland. Thought you might be interested coz I was talking lately with some of you about Poland. I know there are many stereotypes about Polish people in USA.

Both animations are made by Oscar nominee - Tomek Baginski

The first one got some facts about Poland and simple but nice animation:

In the US, Thanksgiving really kicks off the entire holiday shopping season.  Hope you got some great Black Friday deals!

• A huge thank you goes out today to Dolgan Elfbane who hit the 5 million gold donation mark yesterday.  It should be noted, Eagle, that Dolgan says Dwarven Brown is only for fighting.  Pale Ale is the drink of choice for wintery evenings by the fire.

Busy day for lots of us .. Thanksgiving travel south of the border ... avoiding snow north of the border.  *grin*  It's been a bit busy for me today as well, and so I apologize for a late journal entry.  It just means that we can lift a glass or two .. maybe three ... and not worry about having to be anywhere else today!

Congrats on Dungeon 14!  Absurdistan is behind us.  R34lg33k would like us to try for #15 while he's here, so that's on the agenda.  And, we have some levelling news today too!

First, a nod of the head, tip of the hat and lift of the glass to r34lg33k (or if you're not extra nerdy .. realgeek) of Izzone who is lending us his considerable oomph for a guild dungeon or two.  You can expect that we'll be loaning them some folks to help them out as well.

Secondly, we have another triple digiter here in the Pwny Corral.  Make way for Gruel who watched that big number coming for a few days before he beat it into submission.  Way to go, Gruel!

• If you're not a World of Warcraft player, you might not be aware that a major expansion is occuring.  One of the major pieces of the infrastructure came into play this morning, and those of us who are players are rather excited over the whole silly thing.  We might be scarce for a few days.

Teamwork ... we have it!!

All this talk of birds has me thinking about turkey and the delicious smells wafting out of many kitchens as they prepare for the big holiday.  Hope your travels this week to get home are easily completed.   And then, you can sit and enjoy your favorite Dwarven Ale watching a football game with the guys, or thanksgiving parades, or even marathons of "say yes to the dress," if that's your sort of thing!  While you're lifting that frosty beverage, think upon your Canadian friends who are hard at it, slaving away through a regular week!
