Dungeon # 26 went well enough .. The dancing ogre brothers tried to teach Badness a few new steps, but he was having none of that fancy stuff with those nearly nekkid guys!  Bam, bam, dead!  Well done, Badness.

Ghettoforce has agreed that since we haven't yet employed the services of the illustrious Quilp and Bain, we should stay for a couple of more days and hit 4 more dungeons.  That will bring our total to eight, if successful, and Pwnies' dungeon prowess to 29 out of 50.

We've got three dungeons behind us with this visit, with the fourth check-in occurring even as I type this.  In all likelihood, we won't get to the top powerhouses on the roster, its been going so well.

Well hello again!

Been awhile since I had a chance to post on this blog.  

Lots of familiar faces around here .. and a batch of new ones too.  The Severed Tongue members are looking forward to helping you kick a few dungeons .. and to seeing My Li'l Pwnies back in the Top of the Hall of Fame.  We'll be cheering you on all the way!

Atcher, Ick Ack, Babbette and  Daniel San should be seeing a bit of a boost in their earning power while they visit with the Scum.  Hope they enjoy the atmosphere over there.

A LOT of changes have happened since our last post.  We've sent folks to Izzone, Severed Tongue and have recruited a whole swack of new people.

I'm looking for a writer for the website, to keep it up to date daily.  That can't be Eagle Talon unfortunately, he's rather busy chasing hens or something else he can't possibly keep up with.  Send me a mail and I'll get you hooked up with writing privileges. 

Zimmi, the guildmistress with the golden heart, nearly shattered said heart when she departed for the Scumlords at Severed Tongue.  Eagle has some mighty tasty shoes to fill, according to Alyxyn. Take it easy on our favorite feather duster and help him find some sort of throne that will fit in with a nest full of dustbunnies .. and possibly clucking hens.

I was reading through the official Shakes and Fidget forums today when I came upon this post from Charista, which I recommend you read.  I'll put up a permanent link to it in our sidebar.

Skip the preamble.  It's full of self-congratulations, totally unnecessary on work of this calibre.  The rest of it is pretty good.

I'd be interested in hearing your comments on it too.  :D

It's been almost a month since my last post .. time sure flies fast in the summer.  Hope that wherever you are, you're getting a healthy dose of sunshine, beach and outdoor activity.

Some of us went to hang out with the scum at Severed Tongue to give them a boost with dungeon bonuses.  We took down three dungeons and caught Zombunny without their fuzzy slippers.   Severed Tongue wi'll be returning the favor for us once Zimmi returns.  She's off taking care of some real life stuff right now.

We've had a ton of Pwnies hit milestones, so I'll list them ... but I'd like to note that it's still important to get in here and click in for dungeons.  We recently lost one because six high levels didn't click in on the same day.  I hope we don't get a repeat of that anytime soon .. makes it hard to win.

You know absenteeism has got to be epidemic when even opponents are asking us to log in for fights because they want to come up against the worthy foe they know we can be.  Come on folks!

Check your gear?  Is it outdated?  I was watching individual fights the other night ... something I admit I too often pass on ... and noted that some people were getting beaten handily by opponents they should have creamed.   So I checked a few folks.  For the most part, their stats seemed in order.  When I started checking the gear, I found some pretty outdated pieces. So I'm just going to put this out there .. don't hold onto the epic tri-stat or all-stat gear when its outdated.

How do you know that?  When your new tri-stat pieces are 5 levels above the old ones, start looking to replace the older ones.  If they are 10 levels below newer pieces, you might need to weigh options, but if it were me, I'd replace it with a single-stat piece.

No more than one 'luck' piece - you're sacrificing too many of your normal stats.

If your gear is outdated, spend a few mushrooms to flip through the shops.  You'll soon find yourself winning those fights you should and possibly winning where you are hopelessly outgunned.  For an example of winning beyond your levels, check my Hall of Fame listing (#15 currently) and look at the levels of people around me.  Same for Dolgan Elfbane (#25 currently).  I'd love to see some more Pwnies in the top ranks, so have at it .. have fun and create some new friends along the way!

Nothing better to start the day than a nice, clean little war, amirite?  Thanks to Darstard and the Endless Gang for providing us with early AM entertainment.  Of course, winning does take the string out of the injuries.  Onward and upward .. need to spank the Severed Crew again.  If only because Ghettoforce taunts me. -.-

A few of us dropped by the Izzone clubhouse this week - we pumped a bit of iron, jacked ourselves up an Gatorade and headed into the dungeons full of steam and a bit high on too many eletrolytes. Two dungeon bosses fell to us before we sobered up.  The good news is that Izzone now has bonuses of 140% and a much fuller cashbox thanks to everyone being so giddy and lightheaded.

It was nice to see and chat with all the Pwnies who'd gone over to Izzone.  Rubberduck says hello to everyone!

I have no idea how the hell April 1st snuck up on me.  But there it was this morning on my desktop calendar like a dark and dirty monster from under the bed.  I actually checked my online calendar before I'd believe it.  Here I was blithely going along, thinking it was the 30th and I had one more day before having to knuckle down and get my new Pwnies  theme together.   Somehow, a couple of dates have passed me by .. but that's okay .. it just means my life is pretty darned stress free.

I've got a whole batch of people to shine the batlight on.  This month's cocktail parties will be hosted by Zimmi since Dolgan is a man of many beers .. and not too much city polish.  Dwarves just don't understand napkins when a sleeve works just fine to wipe the beer foam off a 'stache.  So yea .. Zizi has the Manhattans and  chocolatini blenders ready to go .. so we'll just get her to get those in action while I list off our super pwnies ..

The signs of Spring abound all around my house.  First, there's the rain.  But then, this is a rain forest climate, so we get that all winter.  I saw a robin alight on my pergola the other day.  The flowers outside my door are blooming.  I have no idea what they are, but they smell wonderful .. little wee flowers that smell as big as lily of the valley.  And the Pieris are about to go nuts as well.  It's a happy day as I look around my garden.
